BJ earns his third Nike’s Horizon Player of the week. Freeman led the way in a 2-0 week for Milwaukee, averaging 25.0 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 7.0 assists in the two games, leading the Panthers to a second-place finish in the Horizon League standings - the team's best finish since the 2010-11 campaign.

BJ Freeman pours in 43 points to lead UW-Milwaukee over Stetson in Overtime in College Basketball Invitational Tournament. Freeman set a new career-high as well as broke the CBI single-game scoring record of 39 set back in 2008, helping the Panthers (22-11) overcome a nine-point second-half deficit against the Hatters (17-14) to claim their first postseason victory since defeating Oklahoma in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in March of 2006.

Freeman earns his second Nike’s Horizon Player of the Week honors in three weeks leading the way for the Panthers as Milwaukee went 2-0 and continued to keep pace for first place in the Horizon League at 8-2. Freeman averaged 28.0 points and 6.5 rebounds per game, shooting 52.6 percent (20-38) from the floor, 44.4 percent (8-18) from behind the arc, and 88.9 percent (8-9) from the foul line.
